As you know, this site has been started because of the CoE Journals shutting down. Therefore, that is what this site is: journals. The rules are mostly the same as on CoE. Please read this entire post before posting.
The Different Boards and What They are For
Member Journals:
This board is just like the ones at CoE. It is for posting your everyday thoughts and feelings. Here are the rules specific to this board:
1. Please keep all journals at a PG to PG-13 rating or lower. If you absolutely must swear, please use only the * symbol instead of the word. No sexual content, etc. will be allowed.
2. No racist, sexist, homophobic, abusive, etc posts will be tolerated.
3. Do not post entries related to self harm.
4. Do not post negative, abusive, etc. posts about another member.
5. You may post religious beliefs on this board, however you must put an asterik in the title of your journal to warn those who might not want to read that content. There is to be no bashing of other religions whatsoever.
6. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, however please keep debates and such to a minimum so that there won't be any problems started.
7. Only start ONE THREAD for your journal. To add new entries, act like you are posting a reply. If you want to, you can change your thread's title by editing your first post.
Religion:
This board is for posting about religion. As well as rules 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 from above, here is the other rule:
1. If you are posting on the religion board then you have faith in your religion. Good for you. However that does not mean that everyone else has to believe what you do. No insulting or putting down of other religions will be tolerated.
Discussions:
Same rules as Member Journals, basically.
Other rules may be added as needed.
Here is the first addition to the rules, and it is very important.
ABSOLUTELY NO BASHING OR INSULTING OF COE STAFF OR MEMBERS. I WILL DELETE ANY POSTS THAT BREAK THIS RULE.
Added 11/24/06: because this is a journal site, there is no reason whatsoever for someone to join merely to browse. Any member who does not become active within the community after a period of time will have their account deleted permanently and without warning. This is only in concern for the safety of the members of this site.

i wouldn't really do that. but i'll follow them rules to the best of my abilities.
