We need to find a way to organize this even more. People are complaining to Rivka because they are getting PMed by 3 or 4 different people about this site. Any suggestions?

simple: assign it to one person... and if they complain about two or three pm-s from someone... sheesh! I'll shut up now...

They already jumped the gun on us there... they've forbidden the "*spamming*" of members about this site. SPAMMING??? AYGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! * utters unmentionable things, though he knows he shouldn't*
I bet you the only person who complained was.... oh wait... i don't wanna break a rule... i don't THINK I am, but I might be... well, the first syllable in her name is synonymous with a fruit of middle eastern origin, and they're very good dried, and sounds like "wig", the second syllable, sounds like "fit".ARGH. simply... argh.

I really don't want to break my own rule but sheesh...haven't these people got anything better to do than complain about a few PMs? If we're going to get that picky, I have a ton of stuff I could complain about, but I'm not going to.

Yeah, my personal message to those who are complaining to Rivka is : LEAVE HER ALONE ( is Rivka a he or she...dang) She's under enough stress as it is got it?I don't mean to be rude, but please,please leave her alone.

Hi there. Gee, I leave for a few days and come back to CoE to find they shut down the journals!  I left a few a while ago but I mostly read them, it was the main reason I kept going back to the site. I mostly left CoE when they shut down the non-tolkien rps, but I did come back to pm friends and read journals. I went over to a new site where a lot of former CoE members and some current ones, like EldarExilePrincess are. They have journals there too but they are different than anyone elses, you can totally control what types of things you can add, you can add music and all kinds of neat things. Some of the CoE members have journals up and running over there now. A bunch of people kind of got discusted with CoE, it seems they don't care too much about the members anymore. We all went to secrethavens.com a few months ago. They have great journals and they have a great forum too. I could name probably 50 or more former and current CoE members that belong to secrethavens now. I like the atmosphere there, most of them are Christians anyway. You just don't find many sites like that. Everyone is so friendly. The other thing is, if you want to get members for your site, the admins there will add your link to their homepage if you add their link to your site, and they let you advertise your site in your signature too. I just finished reading everything that was said in the Prancing Pony over at CoE and it just made me sad. I don't think I'll be going back there either. It just seemed to me that some of the staff had bad attitudes and kind of reinforced the fact that they don't really care about the members. I followed a link in someones signature and found you. Come on over to secrethavens.com if you want journals and want to hang out with other CoE people. I'm sure you will see some familiar faces. I love it there. |
